Services Offered

Intake and Emergency Services

Whether an individual is experiencing a mental health emergency or seeking non-emergency counseling, each person will first be evaluated by the Intake Department of Northeast Counseling Services. The evaluation will assess the type of intervention required, focusing on levels of distress and need. Services are available to children, adolescents, and adults.

NCS's Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. A crisis intervention team is available to help determine an individual's level of need and can include evaluations within the community, if indicated. Interventions and consultations can be done by telephone with an appropriate referral by provider.
