Community and School Based Behavioral Health (CSBBH) Clinician/Therapist: Northeast Counseling Services has an exciting opportunity for a Behavioral Health Clinician to provide services to children, adolescents and their families within a school setting. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary treatment team working with school staff, other agencies and families/guardians. This position requires a Master’s Degree in a human service field and a Pennsylvania license in social work, professional counseling, or a national certification. CERTIFIED PEER SPECIALIST: An exciting opportunity exists for a Certified Peer Specialist to work as part of our Common Ground/Decision Support Center. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing services in conjunction with our Staff Psychiatrists and other treatment team members. The position requires a certification as a Peer Specialist. This opportunity offers an excellent salary plus reimbursement for mileage.

CERTIFIED RECOVERY SPECIALIST (CRS): Northeast Counseling Services is currently seeking Certified Recovery Specialists to work as part of a team within Hospital Emergency Rooms in the Wilkes-Barre/Hazleton areas. As part of the services offered the CRS will provide a “Warm Hand Off” for clients to higher levels of care after a critical drug incident. Interested applicants must be recovery oriented and willing to share their lived experiences with substance abuse. This position requires a certification as a Recovery Specialist.

CERTIFIED RECOVERY SPECIALIST SUPERVISOR: New supervisor position to supervise a team of Certified Recovery Specialists working in local hospital emergency department settings assisting individuals experiencing drug and alcohol problems with a “Warm Hand Off” to appropriate treatment facilities. Bachelor’s Degree with experience or Master’s Degree required.

TYPIST/TRANSCRIPTIONIST: Full-time position Transcriptionist/Typist needed in both our Hazleton and Nanticoke units. High school Diploma required. Must type 35+ WMP, have working knowledge of grammar, spelling and standard office procedures. Benefit package offered.

CRISIS WORKERS, ON CALL: Be part of a comprehensive psychiatric emergency service. Bachelor's degree required. Earn $25/hr to $35/hr for on duty time. Variety of shifts available, nights and weekends. Position based in Wilkes-Barre Area.
