BLENDED CASE MANAGER: Work full-time with a persistently mentally ill population, using strength-based perspective, assisting clients in accessing community agencies, services, and people who will train, support, and assist them in creating a stable, safe and quality of life in their community. CASE WORKER (IMED)The IMED Case Worker works with the mentally ill drug & alcohol population, using a strengths-based perspective, to assist clients to obtain necessary services and supports. The primary goal is to empower the client to identify their needs and choose the resources to fulfill them. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; knowledge of the mental health, drug & alcohol, and social service field; and five years of experience in a behavioral health field.

COMMUNITY AND SCHOOL-BASED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH WORKERS: Northeast Counseling Services has an exciting opportunity for a Behavioral Health Worker to provide services to children, adolescents and their families within a school setting. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary treatment team collaborating and participating with school staff, outside agencies, and families/guardians. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university and at least two years of experience in a PA CASSP system. Generous benefit package is offered, inclusive of health insurance, 401k, leave time and life insurance. Community and School Based Behavioral Health (CSBBH) Clinician/Therapist: Northeast Counseling Services has an exciting opportunity for a Behavioral Health Clinician to provide services to children, adolescents and their families within a school setting. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary treatment team working with school staff, other agencies and families/guardians. This position requires a Master’s Degree in a human service field and a Pennsylvania license in social work, professional counseling, or a national certification. CPS (CERTIFIED PEER SPECIALIST): An exciting full-time opportunity exists for a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to work as part of our Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team providing services within home and community locations. The position requires a certification as a Peer Specialist. This opportunity offers an excellent salary plus reimbursement for mileage.

CRS (CERTIFIED RECOVERY SPECIALIST): Northeast Counseling Services is currently seeking Certified Recovery Specialists to work as part of a team within Hospital Emergency Rooms in the Wilkes-Barre/Hazleton areas. As part of the services offered the CRS will provide a “Warm Hand Off” for clients to higher levels of care after a critical drug incident. Interested applicants must be recovery-oriented and willing to share their lived experiences with substance abuse. This position requires a certification as a Recovery Specialist.

JOINT PLANNING TEAM FACILITATOR: Northeast Counseling Services is seeking a Facilitator for our Joint Planning Team/High Fidelity Wraparound Team with high energy, a strengths based recovery perspective and dedication to helping families and youth achieve their vision. Facilitators help families use their voice, choice and strengths to develop a support plan. This family-driven planning process puts families and youth in charge of their own lives, helping them to function with community supports/resources. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services or related field; Two years of experience providing services for children and families; Must have a valid Driver’s License and means of transportation; Knowledge of all child serving systems and CASSP principles.

MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL (IMED)An exciting opportunity currently exists for a dedicated, motivated and creative individual. The successful candidate will work as part of the Intercept Model: Early Diversion (IMED) team assisting individuals in the judicial system develop linkages to receiving behavioral health and community support services.This position requires a Master's Degree in a human service field. 

PRISON REINTEGRATION CLINICIAN: The successful candidate will provide counseling and life skills training to inmates who have a mental illness in order to prepare them for reentry into society, and increase their chances of remaining out of the criminal justice system to become productive citizens. The individual will also supervise and coordinate the functions of subordinate staff. The position requires a Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field. Should possess the ability to work effectively with individuals with a forensic history and have a thorough understanding of counseling interventions and service planning. 

PSYCHOTHERAPISTS/ CLINICIAN: Northeast Counseling Services is currently seeking motivated, recovery-oriented therapists to work as a part of our outpatient multidisciplinary treatment team providing care to adults and children. As part of the team, the successful candidate will provide services to individuals diagnosed with mental health disorders.These positions offer a flexible work schedule for both full-time and part-time hours. Opportunities are available in Nanticoke as well as Hazleton. Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in a clinical discipline. Bachelor’s level staff will be considered based on experience.
