COMMUNITY AND SCHOOL-BASED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH WORKERS: 
Northeast Counseling Services has an exciting opportunity for a Behavioral Health Worker to provide services to children, adolescents and their families within a school setting. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary treatment team collaborating and participating with school staff, outside agencies, and families/guardians. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university and at least two years of experience in a PA CASSP system. Generous benefit package is offered, inclusive of health insurance, 401k, leave time and life insurance. Additional remunerations will be provided for applicants with bilingual ability.

PSYCHOTHERAPISTS/ CLINICIANS: Northeast Counseling Services is currently seeking motivated, recovery-oriented therapists to work as a part of our outpatient multidisciplinary treatment team providing care to adults and children. As part of the team, the successful candidate will provide services to individuals diagnosed with mental health disorders.These positions offer a flexible work schedule for both full-time and part-time hours. Opportunities are available in Nanticoke as well as Hazleton. Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in a clinical discipline. Bachelor’s level staff will be considered based on experience.

BLENDED CASE MANAGERS: Blended Case Manager is needed in the Nanticoke area to work full time with the persistently mentally ill population, using a strengths-based model, to assist clients in obtaining the necessary services and support. Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or related field is necessary. Must maintain a valid PA Driver's license.

PSYCH REHAB WORKER: Currently seeking a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker for our Hazleton unit, functioning as part of a recovery-based program assisting individuals in developing skills in social, vocational, occupational, and self-maintenance life domains. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in psychiatric rehabilitation, social work, psychology, or related field. This full-time position offers an excellent salary, along with a benefit package.

BILINGUAL PSYCHOTHERAPIST: This office-based position will deliver mental health services to our Hispanic clients. Master's degree in human services field preferred, Bachelor's considered. CERTIFIED PEER SPECIALIST (CPS): An exciting full-time opportunity exists for a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to work as part of our Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team providing services within home and community locations. The position requires a certification as a Peer Specialist. This opportunity offers an excellent salary plus reimbursement for mileage.

CERTIFIED RECOVERY SPECIALIST (CRS): Northeast Counseling Services is currently seeking Certified Recovery Specialists to work as part of a team within Hospital Emergency Rooms in the Wilkes-Barre/Hazleton areas. As part of the services offered the CRS will provide a “Warm Hand Off” for clients to higher levels of care after a critical drug incident. Interested applicants must be recovery-oriented and willing to share their lived experiences with substance abuse. This position requires a certification as a Recovery Specialist.

CLERK/TYPIST: Full-time Clerk/Typist needed in our Hazleton unit. High School Diploma required. Must type 35+ WMP and have working knowledge of grammar and standard office procedures. Benefit package offered.

DATA PROCESSING COORDINATOR: Full-time Data Processing Coordinator position needed in our Hazleton location. The Data Processing Coordinator is in charge of supervising Data Processing Workers and coordinating information flow to ensure accurate, timely billing and accounts receivable. This workforce member has access to billing information and progress notes for our various services. The position requires a high school diploma, completion of formal training in computer operations, knowledge of the mechanics, and terminology of the center.

STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (SAP) CASE MANAGER: An exciting opportunity exists for a creative case manager to work with a dedicated team of professionals providing Student Assistant services to children and adolescents, generally within the Hazleton Area School District and Crestwood School District. The successful candidate will intervene with students experiencing behavioral health concerns and coordinate a care plan that meets their needs. This position requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and experience working with children, adolescents and their families. A generous benefit package is offered, including health care, paid leave, 401k and life insurance.
